Yesterday I was testing the LiveUpload plugin for Facebook, which allowed to use Windows Live Photo Gallery for posting photos on Facebook. Now comes the turn of LiveUpload for YouTube, which will help you to publish videos directly from your desktop. The plugin works in a similar way to its Facebook version and has been developed by the same author. You can utilize it from within the Windows Live Photo Gallery or from Windows Live Movie Maker.
Once you've downloaded and installed LiveUpload to YouTube, just go to menu "Publish -> LiveUpload to YouTube" in any of the above applications you're using. All you will need to provide is your YouTube username and password. Then, you will see the process of uploading your videos, with a progress bar to inform you when the transaction is completed.
Despite the fact that I'm not a regular youtube uploader, the program has worked very good for me. It is compatible with Windows XP, Vista and even Windows 7, you just need Windows Movie Maker or Windows Live Photogallery. I would recommend you to use the second one since its lighter and more accesible. |
